Bio: I taught for 30+ years, retiring in 2013. I have a Masters in Counseling as well as two Bachelors. My best advice comes from the years teaching as well as having two children who are very different learners. I am also the daughter of first generation US citizen parents. They had a no-nonsense approach to child rearing which proved successful with 5 kids.
